I am a psychologist interested in individual differences and their relevance to social interactions, individual well-being, and personal growth. I have a background in differential psychology and clinical psychology / psychotherapy and currently work as a postdoctoral researcher / clinical psychologist at the Department of Medical Psychology and Psychotherapy / Medical University of Graz. I am also Co-PI of a research project at Technische Universität Dresden, where I was working until 2022 (Clinical Psychology and Behavioral Neuroscience, Prof. Philipp Kanske).
My current research focus lies on intersections and transitions between personality (in terms of the typical manifestation of dynamic within-person processes) and personality pathology, as well as human emotional competencies. My research is particularly guided by the idea that personality needs to be studied on on both, macro- as well as micro-levels of analysis, and uses psychometric, ecological momentary assessment, interview-based, as well as neuroscience methods.
